RIVE ENERGY ASOCIADOS (hereinafter, “NUEVO POLANCO MEDICAL CENTER”), responsible for the processing of personal data in accordance with the Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Individuals and its regulations (the “Data Law”), with address at Newton 293 Piso 2, Polanco V Sección, Miguel Hidalgo 11560 CDMX Mexico, informs you that the personal data we collect from you will be processed for the following purposes:

Primary Purposes

  • To provide the medical attention required according to the Medical Services Contract, as well as the policies, procedures, protocols and other institutional regulations of NUEVO POLANCO MEDICAL CENTER.
  • Incorporate your data in our patient care databases.
  • To integrate your clinical file.
  • To share your data with your treating physician and with the interconsulting physicians indicated by him/her, who are independent professionals of NUEVO POLANCO MEDICAL CENTER and have assumed the responsibility of your diagnosis, prognosis and treatment.
  • To share information and documentation related to your medical care with third party payers for payment of services provided by NUEVO POLANCO MEDICAL CENTER.
  • Upload the results of your Laboratory and/or Radiology and Molecular Imaging studies to the Results Consultation system, which you may consult with the user name and password that will be provided to you, or receive them via e-mail at the address provided.
  • To comply with the requirements of competent authorities.

Secondary Purposes

  1. Share information about your name and room number with representatives or volunteers of your religious community, so that you can receive spiritual support during your stay at NUEVO POLANCO MEDICAL CENTER.
  2. Use your data for statistical purposes, improvement of care processes, academic and / or research, ensuring that it is not possible to identify you.

Video surveillance

In the facilities of NUEVO POLANCO MEDICAL CENTER there are security cameras that can capture images and/or videos of the activities carried out in common areas, for your safety and that of visitors and employees.

Personal Data

For the aforementioned purposes, the following personal data will be processed: full name, address, telephone, e-mail, marital status, age, sex, nationality, date of birth, and contact details of a family member. In addition, in some services, photographs or videos will be taken and integrated to your clinical file to record your evolution or treatment.

Financial Data

In order to comply with the aforementioned purposes, if necessary, financial data such as bank account and fiscal data will be collected. In case you make payments by check, this may be transferred to any individual or legal entity with which NUEVO POLANCO MEDICAL CENTER has entered into a contract for the management of checks.

Sensitive Personal Data

In order to provide medical attention care and in accordance with applicable health legislation, you will be asked for sensitive personal data such as religion, current health status, medical history, and in some cases, sexual preference and genetic information, when necessary for your proper medical care.

Privacy Committee

Through the Privacy Committee you may exercise your ARCO Rights, which consist of access, rectification, cancellation or opposition to the processing of your personal data, as well as the revocation of your consent in the cases permitted by Law. The Committee will also handle requests to limit the use or disclosure of your data. ARCO Procedure and Revocation of Consent

To exercise your ARCO Rights or revoke your consent for the treatment of your personal data, you must submit a request to the Privacy Committee at info@nuevopolancomedicalcenter.com, including:

  • Name and contact information (complete address and/or email).
  • Official identification (INE, passport, professional license, immigration document).
  • If the request is submitted by a representative, you must include the document proving the representation (power of attorney, notarized deed, etc.).
  • Clear and precise description of the personal data on which you wish to exercise any ARCO right, as well as the reasons for your request.
  • Any document that proves that your personal data are in possession of NUEVO POLANCO MEDICAL CENTER.
  • In case of requesting the rectification of data, you must indicate the modifications to be made and provide the documentation supporting your request.

The Privacy Committee will provide you with the recommended formats to exercise your ARCO Rights and will respond to your request within 20 working days, informing you if it proceeds, and if applicable, will make the requested right effective within 15 working days. Responses will be sent by email or delivered personally.

Transfer of Information

Your personal information may be transferred domestically and internationally to insurance companies, third party payors, family and friends who request information about your living arrangements, and to representatives of your religious community if you authorize or request spiritual assistance.
